With this basic but important design philosophy, Interiors on Madison (formerly Designs of the Times) has focused our business in the field of the Art and Design for over 30 years. As owner, Interior designer, and artist, I have had opportunity over that time to create beautiful interiors with the help of my husband and a great design team. My personal attributes involve full service Interior design, color and product selection, working with new
construction, kitchen and bath remodels, floor plans, furniture selection, art, accessories, and a truly favorite part of design for me… creating beautiful custom window treatments. Along with these, I have been blessed with opportunities to bring specialty painting, fine art ,and murals into many homes and businesses.

DENNIS SMITS
Co-owner & Installation Specialist
As my husband and supportive team member, Dennis has accomplished himself as a window treatment installation specialist for privacy blinds and shades as well as custom drapery and hardware. He has been working in that role outside of his full time job for the last 25 years. He recently retired from his full time job and opened his own business working in renovation and remodel projects. Along with this he continues to serve my company in the role of installation specialist and deliveries. He also assists with project management, quotes, and securing subcontractors when needed in renovation and remodel projects.
RANDI KASTEN
Associate Interior Designer
Randi graduated with her Associates degree in Interior Design and immediately joined Carol and the team. She has worked side by side with Carol on most projects since she began her career with us. Randi has an eye for color and a special love for drawing furniture layouts and furniture selections. In addition, she conducts many blind and shade appointments and helps with custom window treatments. "I strive to bring a sense of calmness to all customers, so their house can feel like home." ~ Randi
QUIANNA NEJEDLO
Associate Interior Designer
Quianna started out as an intern at Interiors on Madison and joined the team permanently upon graduating with her interior design degree. With a focus on space planning, kitchen and bath design, cabinetry, and color, Quianna uses her strong background in all art forms to create not only a beautifully detailed and functional interior, but a home you will love to live in.
DIANE DOWNING
Administrative Assistant and Office Manager
I love to create and to organize. Working at Interiors on Madison gives me the opportunity to help create functionality and organization in the behind the scenes operations while still being able to interact with clients all in a beautiful environment. I enjoy the variety in my job and my aim is to be flexible in adapting to any area where I'm needed to help create an efficient, smooth running work space.
